The official X (formally Twitter) for the short anime adaptation of Hiroshi Kurao‘s Hokuto no Ken: Kenougun Zako-tachi no Banka (Fist of the North Star: Elegy of the Fist King Army Grunts) spin-off manga revealed new cast members on Friday. The anime is scheduled to air and stream in January 2026.

Kurao serialized the spin-off manga on the Manga Hot app from November 2017 to February 2020. Coamix published the third and final volume in March that year.
