A special livestream event for the Shinjiteita Nakama-tachi ni Dungeon Okuchi de Korosarekaketa ga Gift “Mugen Gacha” de Level 9999 no Nakama-tachi wo Te ni Irete Moto Party Member to Sekai ni Fukushuu & “Zamaa!” Shimasu! (My Gift Lvl 9999 Unlimited Gacha: Backstabbed in a Backwater Dungeon, I’m Out for Revenge!) television anime revealed eight supporting cast on Monday. The anime series adapting Shisui Meikyou‘s action fantasy light novel will air on October 3 at 11:30 p.m. on Tokyo MX followed by MBS, CBC, and BS11.

Katsushi Sakurabi (Flying Witch) is directing the anime at J.C.Staff. Hiroshi Oonogi (Blue Archive the Animation) is handling the series composition and Yukie Suzuki (Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu) is designing the characters. Ryou Takahashi (Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou) is composing the music.
Meikyou began penning the novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou website in April 2020. Hobby Japan began publishing the series under its HJ Novels imprint with illustrations by tef in May 2021. The 12th volume went on sale on April 18.
A manga adaptation by Takafumi Oomae began serialization on the Magazine pocket app and website in May 2021. Kodansha published the 17th volume on August 7, with the 18th volume scheduled for October 9 release.
J-Novel Club licensed the light novel for digital release in English in September 2024 and published the tenth volume on March 27, with the 11th volume set to be released on October 10.
Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga adaptation for English release in May 2022 and published the ninth volume on August 12, with the tenth volume going on sale on December 23.
