The official website for the Shinjiteita Nakama-tachi ni Dungeon Okuchi de Korosarekaketa ga Gift “Mugen Gacha” de Level 9999 no Nakama-tachi wo Te ni Irete Moto Party Member to Sekai ni Fukushuu & “Zamaa!” Shimasu! (My Gift Lvl 9999 Unlimited Gacha: Backstabbed in a Backwater Dungeon, I’m Out for Revenge!) television anime revealed additional cast and a second promotional video on Friday. The anime series adapting Shisui Meikyou‘s action fantasy light novel began airing on October 3 at 11:30 p.m. on Tokyo MX followed by MBS, CBC, and BS11.

Katsushi Sakurabi (Flying Witch) is directing the anime at J.C.Staff. Hiroshi Oonogi (Blue Archive the Animation) is handling the series composition and Yukie Suzuki (Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu) is designing the characters. Ryou Takahashi (Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou) is composing the music.
Meikyou began penning the novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou website in April 2020. Hobby Japan began publishing the series under its HJ Novels imprint with illustrations by tef in May 2021. The 13th volume went on sale on October 18.
A manga adaptation by Takafumi Oomae began serialization on the Magazine pocket app and website in May 2021. Kodansha published the 19th volume on November 7.
J-Novel Club licensed the light novel for digital release in English in September 2024 and published the 11th volume on October 10.
Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga adaptation for English release in May 2022 and published the ninth volume on August 12, with the tenth volume going on sale on December 23.
