The Crunchyroll Industry panel at New York Comic Con 2025 revealed additional staff and a teaser promotional video for the Yomi no Tsugai (Daemons of the Shadow Realm) television anime on Thursday. The anime adapting Hiromu Arakawa‘s action fantasy manga is scheduled to premiere in two consecutive cours in April 2026.

Masahiro Andou (Stranger: Mukou Hadan) is directing the anime at Bones Film. Noboru Takagi (Golden Kamuy) is handling the series composition and Kenichiro Suehiro (Goblin Slayer) is composing the music.
Arakawa began serializing the manga in Shounen Gangan in December 2021. Square Enix published the tenth volume on July 11.
Square Enix licensed the manga for English release in July 2022 and published the eighth volume on July 1, with the ninth volume scheduled to be released on December 9.
