‘Yuusha Party ni Kawaii Ko ga Ita node, Kokuhaku shitemita.’ Reveals New Cast Pair, Winter 2026 Premiere

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Suisei and Kairi‘s Yuusha Party ni Kawaii Ko ga Ita node, Kokuhaku shitemita. (There was a Cute Girl in the Hero’s Party, so I Tried Confessing to Her.) manga revealed a pair of additional cast and key visual (pictured) on Friday. The anime series will premiere on January 6, 2026 at 11:00 p.m. on Tokyo MX, Hokkaido Broadcasting, RKB Mainichi Broadcasting, and BS11.

Voice actresses Iori Noguchi (Class no Daikirai na Joshi to Kekkon suru Koto ni Natta.) and Ayumu Murase (Chainsaw Man) are joining the cast as Happiness and Raven, respectively.

Tomonori Mine (Meitou “Isekai no Yu” Kaitakuki) is directing the anime at Gekkou, with Yukie Sugawara (Sentouin, Haken shimasu!) handling the series composition and script. Mina Oosawa (Maou no Ore ga Dorei Elf wo Yome ni Shitanda ga, Dou Medereba Ii?) is designing the characters. Satoru Kousaki (Aharen-san wa Hakarenai) and MONACA (Assassins Pride) are composing the music.

Kairi began serializing the manga adaptation of Suisei’s original light novel in Manga Gaugau in January 2021. Futabasha published the 12th volume on July 30.

Suisei originally began penning the novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in July 2013. Futabasha began publishing the light novel under its Monster Bunko imprint with illustrations by La-na (Majutsushi Kunon wa Mieteiru) in October 2024. The third and final volume went on sale in August 2015.
